Our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work training qualification is designed for those already working or preparing to work in industry and have been identified within the company’s risk assessment of First Aid. The topics covered by this course are regarded by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as being important in maintain good practice in the safe, prompt and effective treatment of injuries and ill health in the workplace.
Our Emergency First Aid qualification covers:
- The Responsibilities & Role of a First Aider
- Assessing an Emergency Situation
- Managing an Unresponsive Casualty
- Obstructed Airway & Choking
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Other Injuries & Conditions
This Emergency First Aid course takes place over 1 day with a total of 6 hours contact time.
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
This qualification is assessed through a theory assessment and an ongoing practical demonstration of the correct techniques across a number of topics listed above.
All candidates will receive a handbook to guide them through their first aid both during the course and back in the workplace. All successful candidates will receive a certificate specifying their qualification shortly after attending their course.
The level 3 Emergency First Aid qualification is valid for 3 years after which each candidate must re-take the course if they wish to continue practising.
