This course is perfect for anyone looking to build upon a basic knowledge of Excel.
Our expert tutors will break down each step into simple and easy to understand chunks. Leaving all who attend feeling more confident in their abilities.
Throughout the day, candidates will get plenty of hands-on practice. This is as well as time to ask any questions whilst following through the worked examples. In addition, the intermediate workshop is run in small groups to offer more 1-on-1 tuition and additional help.
Plus, a memory stick with all the coursework examples will be provided to each person at the end of the day.
Course Contents
Candidates will learn more complex uses of the software. This includes managing multiple worksheets, creating functions and conditional formatting.
The full course content is:
- Using multiple worksheets
- Creating and opening a workspace
- Linking data between worksheets
- Creating a 3D formula
- Creating and using functions
- Using nested functions
- Working with styles
- Creating custom number formats
- Conditional formats
Requirements
Candidates will need to bring a laptop loaded with Excel 2010 or newer to the training day. Anything before 2010 has a different interface which will not be the same as the instructors. However if this is a problem please notify us on booking so we can make alternative arrangements for you.
Certification
Candidates will receive a certificate shortly after taking the course stating their workshop attendance.
