Our level 2 award in HACCP is a qualification aimed at caterers, manufacturers and other food handlers. The course is intended for candidates already working in and those who are preparing to work in the industry. The course will be especially useful for those involved in maintaining HACCP in a food environment, and for those who are or will be part of a HACCP team.

- Common HACCP terms
- Importance of food safety procedures
- Implementing HACCP & the benefits
- Food hazards and controls
- Corrective action in HACCP
- Verifying, reviewing and documenting HACCP systems
- HACCP Documentation
The L2 HACCP course takes place over 1 day.
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
This qualification is assessed through a 30 multiple-choice question exam for which you are allowed 1 hour.
All candidates will receive a handbook to guide them through their HACCP for catering both during the course and back in the workplace. All successful candidates will receive a certificate specifying their qualification shortly after attending their course.
The Level 2 HACCP qualification is advised to be re taken every 3 years in order to keep each candidate refreshed in the subject and to retain best practise.
