Fire marshal training in Harrogate from Livius Training Ltd — accredited Fire Marshal, Fire Warden and Fire Safety Awareness courses delivered at our Boroughbridge training centre, conveniently located for Harrogate, or on-site at workplaces across Harrogate, Knaresborough and the surrounding area. Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, every workplace must have a designated 'responsible person' for fire safety, who must ensure that sufficient trained Fire Marshals are appointed to implement fire safety procedures and assist with evacuations. Our Fire Marshal training covers legal duties, fire risk assessment principles, evacuation procedures, extinguisher use and the prevention of workplace fires. Harrogate's economy is built on its conference and events sector, a large care home community, hotels and professional services. Each has specific fire safety requirements — from high-footfall conference venues at the Harrogate Convention Centre, to care homes where evacuation planning and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) are critical. Our courses can be tailored to your workplace environment. Our fire safety courses are accredited by Highfield Qualifications. The Fire Marshal course is a half-day (4-hour) session; the Level 2 Principles of Fire Safety is a full-day course covering more advanced fire risk management. Certification is valid for three years. On-site fire marshal training is available across Harrogate for groups of six or more, with our instructors bringing all equipment to your premises — including a practical extinguisher demonstration if suitable for your site.
