Types of Accreditation at Livius Training
Livius Training delivers a mixture of regulated qualifications, awarding-body qualifications, approved-provider training, professional-body programmes, EUSR schemes and registrations, CPD-certified e-learning, industry-recognised e-learning, and Livius Training internal certificates. Not every course is externally accredited — the type of certification depends on the course and how it is delivered.
Regulated Qualifications (RQF)
Qualifications awarded by Ofqual-regulated awarding organisations such as Highfield and NUCO. These appear on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and are nationally recognised.
Approved-Provider Training
Training delivered under an approval or licence from a professional body or industry scheme, such as IOSH, EUSR, or UKATA. The approval relates to Livius Training as a provider, not to an individual qualification.
Professional-Body Programmes
Training programmes designed and quality-assured by professional bodies such as IOSH. These are distinct from Ofqual-regulated qualifications but meet the body's own standards.
CPD-Certified E-Learning
Online courses accredited by the CPD Certification Service as contributing to Continuing Professional Development. CPD certification is distinct from Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
Industry-Recognised E-Learning
Online courses carrying accreditation or recognition from bodies such as IIRSM, Gatehouse Awards, the Institute of Hospitality, RSPH, RoSPA, CITB, and others.
Livius Training Internal Certificates
Some courses are delivered with a Livius Training internal certificate rather than an external awarding-body qualification. These are clearly identified and are not externally accredited.

Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

IOSH training is not an Ofqual-regulated qualification; it is IOSH-designed and quality-assured training.
NUCO Training

HSE & First Aid Training
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) does not approve or accredit individual first aid training courses or training providers. The HSE previously operated an approval system for first aid training, but this was removed. The HSE now provides guidance on what first aid training employers need under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
Livius Training is not "HSE accredited" or "HSE approved." Our first aid training is aligned with relevant HSE guidance and legal requirements where applicable, and our first aid qualifications are regulated by awarding organisations such as Highfield and NUCO — not by the HSE.
