Who Is This Training For?
Secondary Schools
Year 10+ students, PSHE and enrichment programmes, Duke of Edinburgh Award skill.
Colleges & Sixth Forms
A-level and BTEC students, student welfare teams, college enrichment days.
Apprentices
Young workers in construction, care, hospitality and manufacturing who need workplace first aid.
Sports Clubs & Youth Groups
Junior sports teams, scouts, guides and community youth groups across Yorkshire.
What Students Will Learn
Our student first aid courses are designed to be engaging, practical and genuinely life-saving. Students spend the majority of time doing hands-on practice — not sitting through lectures.
Course Duration
1-day (6 hours) for core student first aid. Can be adapted to half-day awareness sessions for younger groups.
Certification
Highfield-accredited certificate valid for 3 years. Recognised by employers, universities and awarding bodies.
Group Sizes
Maximum 12 per trainer. For larger groups we run multiple sessions simultaneously or on consecutive days.
Paediatric First Aid Option
Schools with nursery or childcare provision can opt for Paediatric First Aid training — essential for Ofsted compliance.
